JASON BOYLESTON BIO

Jason Boyleston is a second generation furniture designer and maker whose medium is wood.  His designs are always centered around a beautiful piece of wood, using it as inspiration to create one-of-a-kind, contemporary furniture.   Jason was introduced to the art of fine furniture making at the age of twelve by his father, craftsman Steve Boyleston.  He worked as an apprentice under his father in Florida until he caught the rock-n-roll bug in the early 90s, prompting a move to Seattle to pursue a career in music.  Playing lead guitar and bass, Jason performed and/or toured with The Paul Rodgers Band (Bad Company, Free), The Howard Leese Band (Heart), Bad Finger, Mark Andes (Heart, Whitesnake, Spirit) and Sister Mary.  He has shared the stage with the likes of Joe Walsh, Sammy Hagar, Stephen Stills, Cheap Trick, Foreigner and many more.  In 1999, Boyleston relocated to California where his passion for crafting furniture took center stage.   His work has been exhibited at art galleries, design shows, wine tasting rooms and fine furniture showrooms in Southern and Central California.  He and wife Sharan reside along California's beautiful Central Coast in San Luis Obispo County.
